Vanman's Team includes a certified LEED Accredited Professional architect and experienced construction managers who oversee all projects to monitor compliance with the most current standards of cost effective sustainable design. Many of the basic sustainable design principles can be implemented through common sense solutions. Solutions such as; controlling storm water quantity and quality, minimizing building footprint, building orientation that reduces energy use, native landscaping, low-flow plumbing fixtures, improved indoor air quality, natural lighting, and using recycled, renewable, and local materials.
