Anytime Fitness - Bloomington
Auto Glass Today – Roseville
Auto Glass Today is a 9,000 square foot facility that combines office, garage and office lease space into a unique two-level design. With a glazed, two-story entrance lobby and a handsome exterior façade, Vanman has created an inviting environment for customers and a functional space for business.
Big Wheel Rossi Auto Stores (now Checker Auto Parts)
For Big Wheel Rossi Auto Stores, Vanman Architects and Builders has designed and built multiple retail and service facilities throughout the region, including locations in Andover, Champlin, Elk River, Duluth, Grand Forks, Rochester, and Superior, Wisconsin. By blending durable materials with attention to asthetic detail, Vanman has helped a basic, cost-effective building type to become user-friendly, efficiently-planned facilities, with a distinctive brand identity.
Christian Missionary Alliance Headquarters – Saint Bonifacius
Impressed by the work that Vanman has done for many of their congregations over the years, the Christian Missionary Alliance naturally turned to Vanman to build their headquarters building, which includes offices and conference spaces, from which they can coordinate their many ministries.
Collision and Color - Excelsior
Located in the heart of Excelsior, Minnesota, Collision and Color Auto Body Repair was in search of a new appearance for their existing facility and more efficient use of space to attract and serve clients in a growing suburban market. Vanman helped them to re-use the existing facilities to maximize efficiency, while adding on some needed space and providing a brick and stucco “face-lift” of the exterior. This created a fresh, clean corporate image for the building, reflecting the service that Collision and Color provides its customers.
Tewinkel and Weldin Halls – Crown College, St. Bonifacius
Vanman Architects and Builders designed and constructed these two dormitory halls on the campus of Crown College in St. Bonifacius. The identical 11,000 square foot buildings - one for men and one for women - each contain ten innovative suites, which provide sleeping, bathroom, kitchen and living facilities, tailored especially to student life.
Golden Valley Town Square
This 40,000 square foot development includes a mix of retail, office and production space. The building is a medium-density, mixed-use commercial center that is elegant, cost-effective and pedestrian-friendly. In addition to leasable commercial spaces, the development includes a parking deck and garage that can accommodate 156 cars, a comfortable lobby and an intimate exterior plaza. Vanman’s goal was to build a commercial center that was sensitive to the adjacent residential development while providing a focus for downtown Golden Valley.
LeFebvre Companies – Elk River
Vanman built this 16,400 square foot trucking facility and corporate office, using pre-cast concrete panels to maximize durability and cost-effectiveness. Recently, Vanman Architects and Builders also completed an additional storage facility on this site.
Linnea Gardens – Saint Paul
This 22-unit condominium development in the beautiful Saint Anthony Park neighborhood of Saint Paul is an ingenious adaptive reuse of an historic former nursing home. The interior was completely re-planned to provide uniquely designed, spacious units, incorporating the best elements of the historic architecture with modern conveniences such as an elevator, gas fireplaces, and new two-car garages.
Morrell Companies – Elk River
This 35,500 square foot facility includes 13,700 square feet of warehouse space, 13,600 square feet of service space and 8,200 square feet of corporate offices for Morrell Companies, a major local provider of specialty trucking services. To create a cost-effective, durable and visually-pleasing exterior, Vanman used pre-cast concrete wall panels, in combination with brick veneer and stucco.
Oakdale Square Shopping Center
This 17,000 square foot retail development includes two buildings, a 6000 square foot stand-alone anchor store and a main building with space for seven storefront businesses. The brick veneer is detailed to provide a handsome background that focuses attention on the tenants’ signs.
